About me
Jason Francis is the Fire Chief of the Whitehouse Fire Department in Lucas County. A 26-year member of the fire service, he began as a cadet with the Monclova Twp. Fire / Rescue Department at the age of 16. After high school, Jason rose through the ranks to EMS Captain with Monclova. He also worked for Promedica Health Systems in the Toledo, Ohio area as a paramedic, flight paramedic, and supervisor for 12 years. Once promoted to Deputy Chief at Whitehouse, he resigned from Monclova after 21 years to focus on tasks and duties at the Whitehouse Fire Department. Jason is a recent graduate of OFE class 19 and completed his associate degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University. He is currently working on his Bachelor's in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University. Jason is a Firefighter II, Paramedic, Fire and EMS Instructor, 1403 Live Fire Instructor-Instructor, Inspector, and investigator. Jason and his wife Lyndsey have been married for 19 years and they reside in Whitehouse.
