About me
Drew Goings is a 16-year student of the fire service. He has spent most of his career in the volunteer and combination fire service and has a true love and passion for low-staffed and single-engine company response tactics. Drew currently serves full-time as a Fire Investigator and has also served 12 years as a law enforcement officer, which allows him to provide a unique perspective on his teachings. Drew is the founder of the social media tactics page Smooth Bore Nation, the co-founder of Rust Belt Jakes Fire Training, and serves as an adjunct instructor for the Apollo Career Center. Drew holds certifications in Fire, EMS, and law enforcement as well as specialty certifications in investigations and technical rescue. In his free time, Drew enjoys spending it with his family especially his four-year-old daughter Dublynn “Dubs” and runs a small leather working shop.
