The transportation and use of Ethanol is on the rise and with this increase comes the additional potential for Ethanol-related emergencies. Class participants will start the day in the classroom learning about the chemical & physical properties of Ethanol, uses, and response considerations. Participants will also learn about the different types of firefighting foam and their limitations. There will be multiple live Ethanol fire training scenarios using Bad Day Training’s burn prop. Students utilize different tactics to determine how to effectively extinguish ethanol fires.
