From this class, students will come away with a better understanding of NFPA 1851, how they can implement a NFPA 1851 program within their department, and how they can work toward better health from clean gear. This program encompasses all aspects of the NFPA 1851 standard and will allow all levels of firefighters understand the importance of a gear cleaning and maintenance program within their department.
