At the end of the presentation, Chief and Company Officers will be able to: Evaluate their own departments for opportunities to prepare for "the big one;" Identify the need for a change in operations in today's fire service; Explain ways to network and connect with neighboring jurisdictions, including overcoming hurdles, to best prepare for all types of incidents; explain the command structure options, including using chief officers as division supervisors; describe tactics for residential and commercial firefighting in low-manpower, primarily volunteer settings.
